Now that you have a new internet home business you may need some help getting started and you don’t know where to start or how to start running your new business from home.

This article will give you 3 tips for starting your internet home business and run it with maximum results.

1. Start learning. Running an internet business from home is all about learning, and there is a lot of learning to do. If you look around you will see many internet marketers offering internet marketing tutorials and guides, many “how to” guides and videos, all to help new internet marketers and make their new journey much more pleasant.

The learning process is different from one person to another. People are different and they start learning from different steps. Some have long experience and some have none. Some have computer skills but never tried to use them online and others have advanced computer skills and they know html and php but never tried to market or promote a product online.

It is true, some people learn faster than others. You may understand how things work and gain quick momentum in no time, while others need months or even years before they completely understand how the system works and how to use it for their own benefit. All of this doesn’t matter. If you want to be successful you will have to learn all the principals and apply them and use them on a regular basis.

2. Create a monthly budget. It doesn’t matter if you have money or if you don’t have money, a monthly budget will set boundaries for you and your new business.

Your new business should not take over your family budget. After you learn how internet marketing works and how to use it, you will know which services worth investing money in and which not. These services are different from one person to another. Different people choose to invest their money in different services.

Don’t invest your money in online services before you know if you need this service and if this service really works.

This is why learning and researching is very important. Other internet marketers already have experience with different opportunities and services, for good or bad, and many of them will be happy to share their experience with others and help them. Make sure you stay in your budget you created. When you are new to internet marketing it is very easy to lose yourself in all the opportunities you can find and waste to much money. A monthly budget will help you stay focused.

3. Try free products. Free is not a curse. Many new internet marketers and business owners want to find free opportunities, free products and free services, but sometimes it may look like the paid opportunities and products are better. Well, sometimes they are, but sometimes they are not. Paid services are not always better than the free ones. When you try a free product there is nothing to lose, if it doesn’t work you can leave it and search for another opportunity and almost every free program you find have an upgrade opportunity with more features.

If you do want to try a paid service, make a full research about it, read reviews, ask in forums and try to contact the owner. Give it a try for at least 2 months before you give up and cancel your subscription.

There is no way you can lose when you use these 3 tips with your new home business, learn, create a budget and don’t run away from the free stuff and you will have a successful business.

Write Articles Faster With This Article Template..
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 29th, 2009| | No Comments »

The great thing about this template is that anyone of any skill level can write it relatively easily, and it’s a great way to ignite interest in your topic.

I call this template “The Beginner’s Guide” template, and it involves the following steps:

1) Write an article introducing a newcomer to your topic. This article should be a broad overview of your topic and suitable for someone who has no previous knowledge of your niche. Especially for those of us who have been writing articles for years and years, it can be easy to forget that many readers are at a Stage 1 level, and in order to draw them into our topics we need to write on a more basic level.

There are two approaches you could take:

Write for a beginner, someone who is interested in your niche and is just starting out.

Or, write for someone in your target market who might be interested in your topic if they had more educational information.

2) Keep your language simple–this means no industry lingo or overly technical jargon. If you need to use terms that are unfamiliar to your average person, then explain what they mean.

3) Keep your info simple. The idea is to give a broad overview of your niche, rather than going deep. Remember, for some readers this is the first time they’re learning about your topic, and information overload can scare some readers off. Assume that your reader doesn’t know anything about your niche.

4) Why should the reader be interested in your topic? There has to be some benefit to the reader–will it help their business grow, increase their happiness in some way, help them deal with a practical challenge, or otherwise benefit their life? Spell it all out in your article.

5) Give your reader a taste of information, but leave them wanting more. This is just one article on a big topic, so you won’t be able to cover everything. Just give the basics and let your resource box guide the reader back to your website for more in depth info.

6) Here are some title suggestions:

“[Your Subject] 101″

“[Your Subject]: An Introduction”

“A Beginner’s Guide To [Your Subject]“

7) Remember to cover these points:

*A broad overview of what your topic is.

*Why do people need it?

*What are some of the downsides? What can the reader realistically expect?

*What happens next? What should the reader do to get started?

This is one article template that you can use repeatedly to create different articles on the same topic. There are probably different aspects of your overall niche that warrant an overview explanation in an article.

For example, if your main topic is Article Marketing, you could write a “Beginner’s Guide to Article Marketing”, and then also other articles that give overviews of more specific topics under that niche, like “Resource Boxes: An Introduction”.

The payoff for accumulating a library of articles that appeal to newcomers is that you are creating doorways for new readers/customers to become interested in your topic. Think about it–there are some people who could benefit from your topic, but they just don’t know it yet!

I challenge you–see how many articles you can write using this template. I think you’ll come up with more than you imagined!

Business Stuck? Motivation at a Crawl? Here Are 5 Tips to Pry Yourself Free!
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 29th, 2009| | No Comments »

You’ve purchased the right product. You’ve written up a plan of action. You put the ball in play by advertising, blogging, writing, and everything else your home based business course (should) tell you to do. And lo and behold…nothing! You’ve got nothing to show for it. I mean, it’s been a week! How long do I have to wait to see the fruits of my labor? Well, here are some things to remember:

1. Persistence.

Many people get caught up in the language of internet marketers: Fast money! Get rich quickly! Make $100,000 by midnight! It’s easy to get excited by the jargon, but the reality is more sobering. Putting in time and effort will pay off before anything else will. And while profits of $5000 in your first month are not unheard of, it’s more important to focus on the work at first.

2. Confidence.

Understand this if nothing else, this endeavor of yours is not a test of your value as a person. In short, don’t allow any business shortcomings to bring your confidence down. Starting something as scary as your own business is supreme evidence of your courage. Don’t let that change with the inevitable setbacks!

3. Discipline.

Put down that magazine! Step away from the mp3 player! Toss that remote control (in fact, throw the tv with it)! Get your butt on that computer! No, not Youtube! Study! Write! Advertise! Get and keep your online business going strong! It will provide for you what you put in to it.

4. Patience.

Patience is not easy. Your new business will test you. As many promises as you’ve made to yourself, remember that it will all bear fruit in due time. And when you do begin to see success, you will look back on your experience with a healthy smile!

5. Goals.

You started on this road for many worthy reasons. Your daughter needs braces. You’d like to retire early. That new Maserati. Always have your sights set on why you entered into this new venture in the first place. If you visualize your desires long enough, your subconscious takes over and you begin to move toward those desires habitually. Write your goals down and post them in a prominent place. Read over them every day and visualize.

Nothing provides a greater sense of satisfaction than to look back on your financial success and have it in your heart that in spite of the setbacks, you’ve persevered! That is the difference between the winners of this game and the ones who fall to the curb. This is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s also very helpful to think that you may be just one advertisement, just one article, just one blog entry, just one day away from hitting it big! Don’t stop now, your big moment may be right around the corner!

Built to Last – Web 2.0 Website Designing
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 28th, 2009| | No Comments »

Here are some of the best practices in building a lasting website design:

1. The Code, The Core

There is no better way to keep your website design stable and as strong as launching it on the internet with an unbreakable code. It takes a good programmer to be able to master two common website tools, HTML and CSS, but here is what you need to know: you do not have to be a programming geek just to have a website design that can last for ages and generations.

Only too rarely can you find someone who has studied CSS and HTML and yet fail to make their sites impactful and successful.

Here are a few tools to help you along the way:

a. validator.w3.org – To check your HTML & XHTML mark up
b. jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ – To validate your CSS code

2. Layout vs. Purpose

Let’s get it straight: these two important things should perfectly complement each other.

? If you are creating a pitch page try to keep it as a 1 column layout
? The cardinal rule for websites that requires scrolling is not more than 1.5 pages length
? Start from eye-level and Keep Layout Centralized
? Navigation should be bold and obvious.

3. Design, Design, and Design

Launching your final website design can be as easy as a single click. What happens after the click could make or break everything that you have worked for in the past two months or so.

? If you need help in color selection, try colorlovers.com

? Strong Colours: Bright rich colors visually attract attention. Use them to divide section and highlight important element just like sign boards.

? Rich Surfaces: Proper use of drop-shadows, gradients and reflections help make visual interface feel more matured and polished Web 2.0 feel. The best areas to create this effect would be on important content and your navigation menu.

? Gradients: Web 2.0 designers simply love them to help soften the surface area with an illusion of a raised surface area. One common gradient combination is to use white-to-blue, which creates an aerial perspective as if the background fades into the background. You should also note that gradients work best when used with areas of flat tone or color.

? Reflections: Realistic effects of water droplets, shiny surfaces and polished acrylic buttons have been very popular recently to create that “Ipod Feel”. This is usually created by a light source above the tabs which when combined with diffused glow help creates a plastic effect. Strong white highlight can also create a carbon-fiber appearance which adds to a level of polished professional feel.

? Cute icons: Bubbly “Pop Up” Icons has always been used to project easily recognizable meanings in a graphical manner. A hallmark of most popular web 2.0 sites, especially when you are highlighting specific “wow” factors of your product or services.

? Bold logos / Touch Screen Logo: Keep your logo work visually in its main context. Ensure that it is recognizable and distinctive represent your brand’s personality and qualities on first look.

What Are Meta Tags and Why Do I Need Them?
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 27th, 2009| | No Comments »

There is no other way to put it; the World Wide Web is big business. As an example, you only have to look at the phenomenal success of the online bookstore, Amazon. In 2008, Amazon brought in over nineteen billion dollars in income, yet only required an operating budget of approximately eight hundred and fifty million dollars. It really is no surprise to anyone then that more businesses are investing in expanded web presence and capability. Yet, not every organization has the same successes. Barnes and Noble was selling books online before Amazon was even an idea, and yet it isn’t Barnes and Noble that people think of when considering online bookstores, it’s Amazon. The key? Amazon took greater advantage of the opportunity to effectively market their product.

Search Engines, Spiders and Websites, Oh My

The most important and often least understood tool for online marketers is the search engine. The primary type of search engine is the web crawler – these are largely automated programs that crawl through available web pages, indexing data according to a variety of parameters. In short, the crawler, or spider, examines each page of a website. Once it has examined the page, it submits it to an index. Then, when a person uses the search engine software, the index provides links to these pages, ranked according to relevance. It is worth mentioning two other points. First, not all engines index the same way. Some use keyword density; others focus on the content of the first paragraph. Second, any changes to a webpage are likely to affect search rankings, so webmasters must carefully consider each change and its possible effects.

I Never Meta Tag I Didn’t Like

One important part of preparing a page for good search engine rankings is effective use of HTML meta-tags. These tags do not directly relate to the position a site will have in a search result, but they do offer webmasters some control over the way their sites are presented when they come up in a search. In brief, meta-tags are additional bits of code added to the head of your HTML document, right after “TITLE.” Because of the tendency for unscrupulous coders to find and abuse loopholes in search technologies, search engines do not rely heavily on these tags for rankings. Their benefits to web users are important, however.

First, there is the Meta Description tag. This is a brief report about the content of the webpage in question. When a search engine presents users with a hyperlink, there is frequently a small description accompanying that result. In many cases, that is the Meta Description tag the Webmaster put in the HTML document so that when a spider visits the site, it indexes this information. This is not always the case, however; Google in particular will generate its own description for a site.

The Meta Description is often the first piece of information someone using a search engine will see. The URL may not mean anything to them, but this description will. If it is poorly written, the user will likely skim right past the site for one that presents itself more effectively. Thus, the key is effective, concise writing that conveys exactly what the site is about.

The second tag is the Meta Keywords tag. This tag is a list of keywords the Webmaster considers most pertinent to each page. Proper use of the keywords tag is also vital. While search engines use a variety of keyword systems, and have in recent years de-emphasized the Meta Keywords tag, it still contributes to website rankings and should not be neglected. The best method is to examine each page carefully, and pick approximately ten keywords that best represent the data therein. Too many nonspecific keywords will lead to inconsistent search results, and too few means missing an opportunity to get a message in front of users. In addition, many sites are actively on the lookout for keyword abuse. Google in particular is known to ban certain pages from its index entirely if they consider the article to be an abusive, loophole-seeking piece.

There are other, less relevant tags that can provide some benefits, though they aren’t as important as the previous two. An example is the Robots tag, which is only useful in making sure certain sites do not index a particular page. This can help a Webmaster keep their content from being associated with undesirable elements, but it does not contribute directly to higher search placement.

No Meta Tag is an Island

Once again, it must be stressed that meta-tags are not a magical solution to the very complex problem of online marketing. They must be regarded as one tool in an inventory of other tools, and should be used responsibly. Properly implemented, they will help complete an effective marketing strategy.

Learn How to Make Your Articles Work Harder to Improve Your Online Income Business
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 26th, 2009| | No Comments »

One of the best methods to use for the promotion of your website is still by article marketing. Writing and publishing articles in a number of different article directories on the internet will improve your Alexa rankings and build solid back links to your online income business better than any other method.

The key to this type of internet marketing is the resource box at the foot of each article that you write. This is the area in which you can place a link to your website or any page within your website that is relevant to the article you have written, and the more articles you publish the greater amount of back links will be pointed at your website and the better your ranking will be.

Because of the popularity of using article marketing as a means to build online businesses, a number of article submission companies have come to light offering the service of distributing your articles for you. These services have the ability to submit your articles to many hundreds of article directories on your behalf which, if you are limited for time, is well worth the money they charge. The amount of back links generated to your website alone is worth using this kind of service.

When the question of duplicate content came to the fore, a few of these companies developed a system where you could publish modified versions of an article that you wrote and they would distribute that article with variations to the different directories.

There is however another very effective way of improving your ranking and achieving good results for your online income business and that is by getting your unique articles published on exclusive highly ranked authority sites in your particular niche.

No matter what you market, there will always be some highly ranked authority websites that are leaders in that field, and these websites attract a huge amount of targeted traffic.

Your main objective in getting your articles published on a few of these websites would be to become known as an expert in this field and encourage some of this traffic to take a look at your site as well.

To get your articles published on some of these sites, you would need to approach the content editor with a proposal and a sample of your work. It is possible that you could do this by email but it would be a good idea to also think about telephoning or writing a letter. You can probably find the address and contact details on the relevant website.

Your next step would be to write a proposal of what you want to do. In other words let them know that you would like to supply them with a certain number of unique articles per month, which will be published on their website exclusively with your author details and a link to your website URL which will be included at the foot of each article that you write.

Make sure to let them know that it is your intention to write these articles exclusively for them and for their use alone. If you are publishing articles in article directories as well just be sure to use different ones there. If you are making a promise that these will be exclusive articles see that you adhere to that promise if the authority site agrees to your proposal.

Once the agreement is in place you can start writing your articles around specific keywords that can link back to your website URL. Vary the keywords and link them to different pages within you website as this will give you deep linking as well. Don’t link everything to your home page as your site gains very little depth this way.

By getting your keywords optimized and your articles published in high ranking authority sites your online income business will begin generating more targeted traffic, which in turn creates the opportunity for more sales and at the same time you will become recognized as an authority in your field.

How to choose website designers
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 25th, 2009| | No Comments »

Nowadays, most people have a computer and Internet access and having a website either for businesses or for fun is a common reality. Businessmen have realized that it isn’t worth it to lose customers to the competition who sells worldwide via their website and they have decided to invest in web development and to start competing in the corporate world. People who want to create a website or who already have one but they are not satisfied with it should look for professional website designers in order to obtain what they are looking for.

Selecting professional website designers is a time consuming task, especially when you are not familiar with the terminology and you don’t know what your website needs. The first thing you should keep in mind when searching for a web designer is that you have plenty of possibilities and that there is no reason for the web designer company you choose to be situated in the same city as you. There are many successful websites that were created by web development experts who didn’t meet their customers face to face. With just an internet search you will obtain a long list of companies and you can start checking them out one by one and compare the offers you receive.

Next, don’t forget that the best way of assessing the competence of website designers is to look at their work, so don’t waste your time with companies that don’t have a portfolio page containing some examples of their work. A reputable web development company should have its own website, a portfolio of sites it has built and excellent knowledge of the English grammar. Once your web designer shows you some of his works, see if his sites have a similar design, if the company’s site has been updated and if the sites perform well in search engines. These aspects are essential for those of you who want to be satisfied with the company they will work with in the end.

After finding a web development company you are interested in, the next step is to contact them and arrange a meeting so that you can discuss your requirements. You will be working with the website designers for at least a week and it is important that you get along and that they understand exactly what you want from them. You can find out how reliable a company is only by speaking to some of its clients and checking if they stick to their deadlines. Then, you should be able to specify what you want in your site starting with structure and appearance, cost per page, functionality, graphics, website promotion, maintenance, hosting and marketing so it would be wise to discuss your requirements only after you are sure of what you ask for. Good preparation on your part will lead to having a website that meets your expectations!

Promotion is the key to success and experienced web development companies help their customers market the website they have created, so that they achieve the desired results. Finally, go ahead and start comparing the quotes you received from several website designers before making any decisions and keep in mind that you need to rely on a company that will not only create your site but also maintain it and update it whenever it is necessary. Web developers work in a competitive market and price should not be the decisive factor in selecting a web design company, because other aspects are far more important than money.

We know how important it is to have a functional, appealing website nowadays and it is our pleasure to put at your disposal our website designers. We take pride in our services and in the experience we have in web development.

Wireless Broadband – In the Form of Mobile Broadband and Wi-Fi!!!!!!
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 25th, 2009| | No Comments »

Internet has certainly provided a comfortable platform to the people for accessing almost everything. But for availing these services, one need to have Internet connection. Earlier there were dial-up connections for the connectivity purpose, but they used to bother a lot, due to the slow downloading speed and hindrance to the phone line. Then the need of something fast and hassle free, gave birth to broadband connections. There are two broad categories Home Broadband and Mobile Broadband, and both are quite fast and better. The second one could be kept under the category of Wireless broadband .

Different usage of different users has created these categories, and they are modified accordingly. The wireless mobile broadband is not as much faster as the home broadband, but still it has its own advantages. One of the major benefit of this connection is the mobility provided to the users. It helps to move freely from one place to another, without getting disconnected, or dragging bothering wires.

Under the wireless Internet connections, we have mobile broadband and Wi-Fi. Although both are capable of providing mobility, both have different functionality and limitations. The technologies used for connectivity, in the mobile broadband are – 3G, HSDPA and EDGE. A USB like device is used here, which has a SIM card of the connection provider. Its quite portable and easy to use, by just plugging it into any system, a user can start surfing at anytime & anywhere.

On the other hand, the Wi-Fi connection has a wireless adapter which translates data into radio signals and transmits the signals over an antenna. And this transmitting antenna is generally connected to a DSL or a LAN. In the network, there is a wireless router, which receives the signals and decodes them. Ethernet connection is used by the routers to transmit the information over the Internet. It works in different ranges, around 120 feet indoors and 300 feet outdoors. The spots or plots, from where these devices operate, are known as Wi-Fi hotspots. With the increase in the distance between the user and the signal, the speed of the connection decreases.

There are many wireless broadband providers in UK, and few leading amongst them are – O2, Virgin Media, 3, Vodafone, Plusnet and Talk Talk. The fierce competition between these connection suppliers has forced them to provide various deals and offers. These have certainly benefited people in a great manner. Although there are many attractive promotions like free gifts, discounts, free LCD TV, free playstation etc., but there is one deal which is quite outstanding. A free laptop with wireless mobile broadband ii a wonderful deal, which increases the mobility and comfort of a user.

Numerous wireless broadband provider has definitely confused the mind of people, and to select the best one amongst them is even more difficult. In a physical market, it requires a lot of efforts with time and money. But as a solution, there are many online shopping portals, which has all the details of these suppliers. And few dedicated online comparison portals allow to compare their packages and prices.

Wireless broadband connections, in the form of mobile broadband, are the best options for the people who travel a lot, and needs to stay connected all the time. And the Wi-Fi option allows to move freely within a limited range. Both are good in terms of mobility, and to avoid bothering wires.

PR: wait… I: wait… LD: wait… I: wait… wait… Rank: wait… Traffic: wait… Price: wait… C: wait…

Andrew J Peterson is a professional writer. He is writing on various products and services to distinguish price comparison shopping on Home Broadband , mobile broadband , Free Laptop with mobile Broadband , Cheap Hotels and many others.

How Would You Define Success or Failure in an Affiliate Marketing Business?
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 24th, 2009| | No Comments »

If you have an affiliate marketing internet business and you want to succeed with it, here are some strategies that you need to avoid using as these will surely lead to failure. Just so that you understand, the people who are using these strategies listed below are not actually using them on purpose!

Generally the failure rate amongst internet marketers is high somewhere in the region of 95% that fail. To begin with though we first need to define what success is as it is different for everyone.

The first thing you need to do is decide what you consider success to be for yourself. For some it could be earning enough extra income to pay the mortgage while for others it would be making money monthly in the five figure region.

So whatever you consider to be a success is what will make the difference in you life and will be the deciding factor of whether you have succeeded or failed.

Let’s now talk about the failure strategies that are followed by those people who don’t succeed.

1. The first failure strategy is that they don’t set up a website of their own. By using a replicated website your chances of success are immediately reduced as you will then have a website that looks like the same one everyone else marketing that product is using and there is nothing to make you stand out from the crowd.

2. You have heard the mantra “the money is in the list” if you fail to take note of this, you are setting yourself up to fail.

The importance of capturing names and email ddresses is the basis on which your business will be built and is essential to your success as an affiliate internet marketer.

3. If you are an affiliate marketer it is not necessary to own the product you promote, but it is a good idea to use the product yourself so that you can sell it with knowledge and enthusiasm.

When you use a product and enjoy it you will find it far easier to sell as your own experience with it will help you create a greater interest and your marketing tactics will be far more credible.

4. When you find a product that you would like to market, see that you learn to make money with that product first before adding a second one. The reason so many people fail with internet marketing is that they sign up for one affiliate program and before they have learned to make money with that they are on to the next one.

Because it is usually free to sign up as an affiliate they continue to jump from one product to another and end up not making money with any of them. However great the temptation is to do this, in the end it will not serve you well. This is a sure road to failure.

5. Once you have set up your website and signed up for the program you have decided to promote, your main task will then be to drive targeted traffic to your website so that you can make the sales you require to become a success.

If you don’t generate traffic to your website you cannot sell anything as without any visitors to your site there is no business.

By taking note of these five points and doing what is required without getting side tracked your will steadily build a successful internet business as an affiliate marketer and can obtain the success that is your dream.

Scams: How To Recognise and Avoid Them
Posted by admin in Training Articles on 09 23rd, 2009| | No Comments »

If you are one of the thousands of people who wish to work from home, but are being held back because of fear, you are not alone. Many people want to know how to make extra money or even a living off of the Internet, but are worried about being scammed. The truth is that there are lots of business opportunities on the Internet and lots of scams as well. If you learn how to recognize a scam, you will be able to choose good business options.

If a business has any of the following, then it is likely that it is a scam:
- You have to sign up to the company and pay them money, but they seem to have no product or service.
- The website appears to have been thrown together and doesn’t look or feel professional.
- You don’t get enough details to know exactly what the opportunity is before you pay money for it.
- If there isn’t any contact information than it is a scam. If the only contact information is an e-mail address and it is in the form of a yahoo, gmail, hotmail, or other free e-mail account it isn’t likely a professional option and should be avoided.
- You call them, but are never able to talk to a real person and are either stuck with their automated answering service or you leave a message, but no one calls you back.

Additionally you should always do a search online. This usually brings up pages of people saying how wonderful the program is. These should be ignored because they can be bought or even written by the same person who set up the website. Instead look for negative reviews. These will give you a better idea of whether or not it is a scam. Just because there are negative reviews doesn’t mean it is a scam, but find out why the people are unhappy and you will find out whether or not it is a scam. There are many sites that list scams as well and if your opportunity is listed on one of these sites, it is best to avoid it.

There are also a few signs that can be used to identify real companies and real business opportunities.
- Products are geared for a specific market.
- The company site should look and feel well put together. All the information you need to decide about whether or not you want to do it should be at your finger tips.
- There should be a way to contact the company if you have additional questions.
- There should be training materials available for you to get to know your products and services.

When it comes down to it there are a few things to remember. If it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is and you want to make sure you do a lot of research before paying any money. Additionally, there is money to be made, but reality says you aren’t going to make thousands a week for a few hours worth of work. It will take dedicated work to build your business up and to make money.
